PHILOSOPHY OF THE FIRM

Wrinkle, Gardner & Company is committed to utilizing all available resources to provide professional, timely services to their clients.  Innovative management techniques, as well as more traditional accounting and tax approaches, are used to customize the firm’s services to each client’s individual needs. The goal being to provide the best possible service and advice to enable clients to achieve and surpass their business goals.

FORMATION OF THE FIRM

In 1992, the Firm’s principals left Ernst & Young to form their own professional corporation in response to demands for personalized service at reasonable rates. The principals have extensive experience with privately owned and emerging businesses through their years with Ernst & Young’s Houston office.  Training and work experience has provided the firm with valuable resources on which to draw from in today’s volatile marketplace.

PRINCIPALS

Both the principals in the firm have achieved a high degree of success as accounting professionals and as civic leaders in their respective communities.  Set forth below is a brief summary of each principals experience and accomplishments.

L. DOUGLAS WRINKLE

Mr. Wrinkle holds a BBA from Texas A&M and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has over 14 years experience and was a tax manager at Ernst & Young for several years before establishing his own practice.  Mr. Wrinkle heads the tax practice of the firm.

DENNIS C. GARDNER

Mr. Gardner holds a BS from the University of Houston – Clear Lake and is a Certified Public Accountant. He has over 14 years of experience and was an audit manager for Ernst & Young before joining Mr. Wrinkle in 1992.  He heads the consolidation services, accounting, attestation and auditing practices of the firm.
